Program & Feedback

What this phase is, how it works, and how feedback fits in.

What is the Perfect Pancake™ sample program?

The sample program is the brand’s current field-testing phase. It gives cast net users a chance to try the product in real conditions and helps us refine the directions, experience, and future rollout through honest feedback.

Do I have to leave feedback?

No. Feedback is always optional. That said, honest feedback is one of the most helpful parts of this phase, whether your experience was good, bad, or somewhere in the middle.

I received a sample in person. Can I still leave feedback?

Yes. If you received a sample directly from us, through a local handout, or by scanning a QR code, you can still use the same combined sample page on this site.

What kind of feedback is most helpful?

Helpful details include:

  • Net type or material and approximate size
  • Where you usually throw (saltwater, freshwater, or both)
  • Approximate soak time and water volume
  • Anything you noticed about the product, directions, or how the net felt after throwing it
  • Optional photos of your setup or net after use
Can I send photos or video?

Yes. Photos are welcome, and if you would like to send a video of your setup or experience, email it directly to hello@throwaperfectpancake.com. Email is usually the easiest option for video.

What happens after I leave feedback?

We review patterns across different nets, conditions, and use cases. What we learn helps guide improvements to the directions, sample experience, packaging, and future launch plan.

If you choose to leave your email at the end of the feedback form, you can also get early access updates and be part of our Founding Netters Crew.

Should I throw my net before leaving feedback?

Yes — if possible, it’s best to throw your net after it has dried so your feedback reflects real use. Even a few throws can help you notice how it feels compared to before.

This is a testing phase, not the full retail launch. The goal right now is learning, refinement, and building the brand intentionally.

Use, Support & Next Steps

Using your sample, getting help, and knowing where to go next.

How do I use my sample?

Give it a quick shake before pouring.

The basic steps are:

  • Mix 8 fl oz into 3–5 gallons of fresh water
  • Fully submerge your cast net
  • Soak for 12–24 hours
  • Lightly rinse with fresh water
  • Hang to dry out of direct sunlight
  • Once dry, throw your net as you normally would before leaving feedback

You can also visit our Directions + Feedback page for the full version.

Do I need to use the sample right away?

Not necessarily, but it is best to use it within a reasonable time while your net condition and observations are still fresh in mind.

What if I need help before leaving feedback?

Reach out anytime at hello@throwaperfectpancake.com or through our Contact page.

What if I have not used my sample yet?

Start with the combined sample page, follow the directions, let your net dry, throw it as you normally would, and use that same page again when you are ready to leave feedback.

When will the full product launch?

There is not a locked public launch date yet. Timing depends on what we learn during the current testing phase and when we feel the product, directions, and overall experience are ready for broader rollout.
