Current phase

Field-testing with real cast netters

Perfect Pancake™ Cast Net Conditioner is currently in field-testing phase. Sample kits go out in small batches to real cast netters running the product through real conditions on real gear. Feedback from those testers shapes what we ship next.

We're building this the right way: get the product genuinely working before making claims about it, and get honest feedback from the people who'll actually use it before scaling production.

What's ahead

Testing planned

As we approach retail launch, we're planning formal independent laboratory testing to substantiate the environmental and performance characteristics of our formula. That work is being scoped now with independent chemists in Florida, and results will be published on this page as they become available.

We take substantiation seriously. Any product claim we make on our label, website, or marketing needs to be backed by actual data — not marketing copy. Until that testing is complete and results are in hand, we're intentionally careful about what we claim publicly. We'd rather be quiet than overreach.

What we can say today

Based on current field testing

  • Designed specifically for mono and nylon cast nets
  • Built around the simple mix, soak, rinse, and hang routine many cast netters already use
  • Supporting the overall condition of the net through a chelating agent (grabs salt and mineral buildup), an odor-binding component (traps sulfur and amine compounds from bait residue), and a humectant (helps fiber pliability)
  • Currently distributed only to early-access testers under a small-batch feedback program (testers earn Founding Netter status by returning honest feedback after trying it)
